I know it is too early to post Halloween picks, and this comp is not really Halloween. The cover is a photo from a dance party where everyone dressed up in western wear. It was fun. I had already made the Rock, Freak, Boogie comp and there is some overlap, but doing just a freak connection made sense, so this was born. I had to find some way to put Cabaret Voltaire on another pick. I doubt much of this was played at the party we had. In fact it was probably none of these. But I do like these freaky songs. There really are so many of them to choose from. Leave your choices in the comments. This goes beyond any specific genre, so enjoy the diversity.
