It was less than a week ago that I posted part one of this Shake Your connection, so check that one out and all the other related Shake comps I have also already posted. Not really related is the Shaker post, which, I don't remember if I ever posted, but I did make it. Hmmm... I'll have to post it if I haven't already. Anyway, I transgress, This has more songs about Shaking your stuff. A couple of doubles with other shake comps and even the other volume, but hopefully different versions when I could find them. I have posted quite a few of the WTC's with Shake as the title theme. This offshoot is Shake Your... There, obviously, are quite lot of your things you can shake and this covers many of them. A few doubles/covers, but I tried to separate them in one way or the other. I have a feeling that a lot of these are metaphors for your butt and some are just saying it. I was inspired by a post on Butterboy's blog by Oniswa, so I made this connection. It has completely diferent tracks. Just my interpretation of it. Listen to both. I can't speak for the other one, but there were so many songs about the shakes (and I am pretty sure none of these have to do with Arby's Orange Creamsicle shakes, even though that's what's on the cover). When I started it, I wanted to use some of my favorites, but not duplicating any from the previous pick. I should say that KC was the first I thought of, but it really was The Cars. Not that it was my very favorite of these. It just popped into my head. The Limbomaniacs are probably the one band that's least known here. But this ep was produced by Bill Laswell. And this isn't even close to their best song, but it fits here.
