What's The Connection? Camera 2

Part two of my Camera connection. which itself is related to another connection (go to Camera 1 to see that). There are a couple of doubles among the three, but they are good or different versions. Several of these camera songs are actually a brand of camera (Polaroid). And one doen't have anything to do with cameras in the title, but to me is the most camera-centric song, because it says "How come you always load your Pentax when I am in the nude?" I still own a Pentax (although I never use it) and it was my first real camera. If you know what a K-Mount is give me a hey in the comments. The long version of Yes, a theme song from a great camera TV show and a comedy bit by Rap Reiplinger round this out. One of my most favorite Camera songs, that no one seems to know, is the Figures On A Beach track. It should have been more popular instead of the stuff they hit with.

What's The Connection? Camera 1

Kinda working off the Photo Connection I did some time ago, but from the camera point of view. The lens is aimed at the camera itself. I pretty much started with Buggles (and sort of Yes) and a Figures on a Beach tune called In Camera Obscura which is already at the other photo connection above. I might use it again in volume 2 because it's a cool song, but I tried to stay away from anything I had already posted in that one. I have another hours worth for part two. You'll have to wait for that one. In the meantime here's what I have so far.

What's The Connection? Photo

This one is a connection of songs about photos, cameras, etc. So many to include here, so I picked the ones I liked best, as usual. Although I skipped an obvious one: Centerfold because I chose the "other one" by J Geils Band. Same with I Am A Camera, except I chose the other band's version. Yes instead of Buggles. I like those other songs, but I just wasn't picturing them on this one. Probably one of my favorites of all of these is Figures On A Beach. They had a semi hit later on that I think was more known that was a BTO cover and another song that wasn't a hit, but seems to be the song that gets played (No Stars) but people are missing out. The track on here is better and only was hurt by no real record label push. Much better song and it fits the WTC. The only track that totally fits, but doesn't fit is by the Vapors. Obviously it is about pictures, but only the slightly racist title gives it away. Luckily, we Asians have a much better sense of humor than some others may.
