This is the second one in the Bo Diddley Beat pick series. Yesterday I had volume one, so if you didn't get that yet, you should. Lots of great songs in this serries, just because it's Bo Diddley's Beat. Pretty much any song with this beat will be at minimum passable, and probably quite good. Judge for yourself. Bo Diddley Beat 1

This will be a multi volume compilation. There is so much to pick from. Once you hear the Bo Diddley beat you can't unhear it. Some people have called it a variation of Shave and a Haircut, Two Bits. There is some truth to that but it is more. As you listen to these it will automatically trigger some memories of other songs with a similar beat. I hope you enjoy this selection of two dozen songs with that beat. Including the original Bo Diddley himself. Side note that has nothing to do with this pick and is me just name dropping. I got to have lunch with Bo Diddley. A BBQ, with "Mrs Bo" (the fourth one) and he was very gracious, very nice. It wasn't long after their marriage so kinda lovey dovey still. Got to see but not carry his guitar. Very good in concert, even then.
