Repost with new links just so you can see the progression. Not the same as the Clash Of TheTitans series. First this is only one comp. But as I was making the other playlists, I realized there was some stuff that was much like new wave and little like electro and it was pretty good. So I took some new stuff and matched it with a couple of older tracks that fit to make this one for you. Ladytron, Freezepop and Miss Kittin started this for me, the rest came naturally.

This really is a clash, even though the music all fits together, it's not really new wave, it's not really electro, it's not really disco, etc. It's a clash of all those things and house. But none of those things either. I mean could I be more vague? The pick makes sense when you listen to it.

This volume of the electroclash pick has one of my favorite tracks from a band (producer?) I have no idea about. I just know I like the track. Ctrl Z vs Screwface. Especially when it is Zedd. Control Zedd. So obviously not from the US. But what a way to start off a volume than with that intro. A bunch of remixes and cool unknowns. I just like it. No explanations or reasons.

More electroclash in this series pick. Although I would suggest that only some of this is really electroclash and the rest is a some other kind of flavor edm. A couple of tracks that are covers, at least one that feels like a cover but is an original. A few remixes and one of my own edits. All danceable and kinda go well together. Over the last couple of volumes, you've probably noticed some of the same names come up. No accident.

Continuing the Clash Of The Titans electroclash playlist series, this pick is just getting interesting. A couple of older songs mixed with newer songs that sure seem danceable. Less remixes this outing. I like the mix of Cabaret Voltaire and Talking Heads mixed with Juan Maclean and Hot Chip. I couldn't tell you anything about Fujiya & Miyagi, but I love the sound. Fischerspooner and LCD Soundsystem had hits later but here they were just blips.

Part 2 of this series I call electroclash, but it really isn't all that. Mostly good danceable new new wave and even some edgier house. Songs from bands no one except for a select few really knows or remembers, but you will dance to it. Is this EDM? Gasp! Who cares? It mixes well, people dance to it and it just sounds good. Stop judging so much. This pick is mine and I like it. Just play it and dance. Love on the edits and remixes.

I put together this series of playlists around the time of the emergence of electroclash and although it isn't all that, it sounds enough like it it to start this series. I think I was watching the Clash Of The Titans movie or seeing a computer game or something like that and so this was born. It was more just danceable stuff that mixed real well. I hope you like it. I made a few of these and the theme doesn't hold up really at all. But it didn't matter, because I liked this pick and played it a lot. Lots of remixes.
