Yoko Ono Pick

There are some people who will just ignore this pick, but they would be silly to do so. There are some people who will say that she does not belong in the Beatles family posts, but they would be wrong. Yoko Ono deserves better than she has gotten. I have no idea how she is as a person, but she's been a pioneering force in music. Decades later there are still bands discovering how amazing she is. These are some of my favorites of hers. I love the tracks (4 & 5) with Frank Zappa and the Mothers (with Yoko in the bag). The newer stuff with her son Sean is amazing too. The almost jazzy rock with Voorman is brilliant. The stuff that ended up being remixed relentlessly (although I posted the original versions) is great. She got rediscovered again by dance music. And of course the first track which is one of my favorites. To me, this is all good.
