Instead of calling this a pick, it's just a consolidation of the lead singer of Until December and the band he changed to: Consolidated. I'm so clever. Not. But these guys are from the Bay Area. They were almost a big name in show business. They kind of just missed their opportunity and their brushes with success were marred by the way they were. As Until December, they had some cool music that could fit in right next to Depeche Mode and similar music, but they were so militant about their B&D and gay-ness that the public was not ready for it to be so in the face. Too bad because they had some great tracks. And when the lead singer left to start Consolidated, he just became so militant about an activist communistic vegan lifestyle that it took away from the actual songs being pretty darn good. They had a good sense of humor. They do not sound like the band they came from. The last song is them with rapper Paris (another activist, but for the Black Panthers) who also had his own great raps and guested on this one track with these boys. He did not have a sense of humor. Kind of a dick, but some good songs. One that I play at most of my gigs still to this day.

I like them as well, have been a fan of Mark Pistel's work since he and Jack Dangers from MBM work so closely together. Plus there is that weird but great tie-in with New Fast Automatic Daffodils on "This Is Fascism", a cover of Consolidated, remixed by dozens of artists including Consolidated themselves.
