Obscure Gospel 2

Side two of this cassette pick from way long ago. I had probably recently gotten the BEF album, and I really liked it. I mixed in old and new songs, but even the new songs had an older feel. BEF fell right into that mold. I added another surf song and a couple of new wave (robotic songs), an oldie and even one Canadian "rock" band. Harlequin was on one of those label only samplers and I really liked the track. So it got put on the cassette. Originally the cassette had a cover with a variety of orange, red and yellow markers making an abstract background for the cursive title I hand made. I tried to mimic that on the digital version.

    1. It's the correct link, but Proton seems to be down right now. Give it a couple of minutes and try again

    1. That's weird. I just tried with two different zip apps and I can download and open it. What zip program are you using?

    2. I just downloaded onto my phone and randomly downloaded an Android zip app. It kinda sucked as an app, but it opened and extracted all the files. I wish I could help you more.

  3. Unfortunately, I encountered that same problem with the zip file. Could not open it with native Windows 11 decompressor, nor with Unrar. It keeps erroring out for some reason. Is it possible that some weird character was used, or that a file exceeded the stupid file name length limits in Windows?

    1. Weird how this file keeps getting this from people using specific zip programs. I use a couple of different zip programs and they all are working. I wonder what the difference is between them.

    2. WinRAR “Unrar” can also choke or give vague errors when dealing with ZIPs that Explorer already fails on, especially when path length or temp‑folder paths are too long. Simple things to have them tryHave that user:Move the ZIP to something very short like C:\z.zip, then try “Extract All…” there, so the resulting paths are shorter. If that still fails, ask them to install 7‑Zip and open/extract the archive with 7‑Zip instead of the native Windows handler.
