Somewhere in the 80's new wave clubs became underground popular to go to in the Bay Area, where I was living. One of those clubs in San Jose was called The Cabaret. Saw many great shows there, but a night or two was set aside for new wave DJ to come in and play the new wave "hits" if you can call them that. They were for all of us there and eventually they became popular enough that they got played on more than the college stations. This pick includes some of my favorites from those nights.
