Celtic Pick (Irish music for St. Patrick's Day)

To get you thinking of St. Patrick's Day here is my pick of Irish bands and the songs I like. No Beer songs here (see my connections Beer volume 1 & Beer volume 2 for those). Although St. Patrick's day is really an American holiday Irish decided long ago to celebrate with us (and not complain about appropriation.) Just do everyone a favor and drink some good Irish beer preferably not colored green. One of my favorite Irish bands (although they are technically Irish-American) is Gaelic Storm. One of the best bands to see live. I highly recommend them. Their song on this playlist is just a small example of how great they are. Not that the others are slouches, either. All very cool. I love how Bing Crosby fits in right next to Snow Patrol. Tomorrow, if you're lucky, you'll get more Irish related stuff.
