Am I Bent Pick (ambient chill music)

Around this time, I was noticing that all these places were starting to play "Chill" or "Ambient" music. To me up to then, "Ambient" meant Brian Eno "Music For Airports". Anyway several artists I like made ambient remixes or just ambient songs. I was listening to The Orb and Art Of Noise and told myself I could make a better pick, yet slightly bent version of Ambient, therefore the play on the word "Ambient" = "Am I Bent". Too clever for myself. Either way this was my attempt using the songs in my collection at the time to put together this playlist. I was inspired to post this because of someone else (George at Groovy Library) posting a compilation (actually two) on his website that I really liked. Not the same, but the same feeling. So I looked for this to be able to post it. Later, much later I made the Slow Poof picks, so those are kind of related. Check them out if you haven't already.

    2. Thank you so much! Maybe, Im asking a lot. But is it possible to make a "What's the connection?" for my beloved VW bus (yes, it’s as cool as it sounds). I’m dreaming of tracks that connect to the vibe of road trips, freedom, retro vibes, or anything that feels like it was made for cruising with the windows down.

    3. I love the vw bus. What year do you have? I used to have a 76. Took it on many road trips up and down the coast of California. Had it set up to turn seats into a bed and enough room for three and a dog comfortably. Biggest expense was the stereo. Lol

  3. I have some driving comps and some "hippy" ones too. To me any of those would work, and perhaps some dub. But I think you might have something different in mind. Let me know and I will see what I can do.
