Bauhaus consisted of Peter Murphy (vocals), Daniel Ash (guitar), Kevin Haskins (drums) and David J (bass). They were a dark post-punk band that pretty much started goth rock. Amazing band, but because of friction in the band, they break up. Peter Murphy goes solo, the rest of the band becomes Tones on Tail and then Love & Rockets. Each is quite good. A couple of other solo albums and there you have it another family broken up with some really cool separate projects. Here are some of the tracks I like in this pick to give you an introduction to the family. Notice the Mondrian in the background of the cover. Yes, part of the Bauhaus art movement.
