Volume one of this 80's pick. I can't remember which journalist asked Robert Smith from the Cure to pick his favorite songs from the 80's, but I remember looking at the list thinking it was pretty good. If you're going to ask someone from the 80's to make their list Smith is probably a darn good choice. Afterall he would probably be on many people's list. So it makes sense to see what he liked during that time he dominated the alternative charts. And he does not disappoint. I would not have guessed a few of these, but the rest make a lot of sense based on his catalog. Which ones are you surprised he chose?
