Mostly coming from the Hit The Spot compilation several days ago. I was listening to Graham Parker and thinking how many other Spot songs there were and that I could put into a connection. Reminded me of this bar I used to go to. In a strip mall, way in the back. Had a bartender who probably had worked there for a hundred years and matching cocktail waitresses. The oldest uniforms ever. It was called The Spot. No longer there (I checked) but they opened at 6 am and closed the latest they possibly could. Great place to go if you want to drink all day. And they could make all these crazy shots. Lots of fun in the 80's and 90's. Yes, I have a spotted past.
