Pop Rocks 3

The best song that conveys what this compilation is about is Reunion's "Life Is a Rock (But The Radio Rolled Me)". It's fast talking, it's pop, but it's rock. Like the candy, Pop Rocks is a little sweet, a little crackly, it's interesting covering flavor and fizziness. You can crunch the rock part and you can let the sweetness just fizzle through your mouth, you can let it bubble through like pop and crunch like rock. It's a pick of mostly hits but a combo of major hits with minor ones thrown in for good measure. I have more to post, but I will skip a day or so I can get a comp playlist specific to December in here.

  1. Nice selection! This is what I was listening to on a tinny transistor radio way back when.

    1. Glad to bring back memories! I remember listening to some of this in my garage turned into a bedroom on a mini boom box with an 8-track and playing along with my "broom" turned into an air guitar
