Doug Sahm Pick

Not a special day to celebrate Doug Sahm, other than any day is a good day to celebrate him. I did finish what I think is a good pick of his work over the years. Born in November 1941 and died in November 1999 he left a nice body of work. I'm not sure how I would categorize him, but he did have some great songs. Early Rock, San Francisco Hippy, Latin Rock, Country, Blues. It was all good. I have a little of each period even his song with Los Super Seven (listen to the other albums, they're all good). I love the Sir Douglas Quintet, but his work with the Texas Tornados was just as good if not better. I included a track from the movie Tin Cup and some solo stuff as well. I think you can tell, I like his stuff.
