mdc

I was looking around while making another compilation and found some songs I wanted to use because they were cool, but they didn't fit the pick I was working on. It happens a lot. So I dump them in a folder to use later. I call this one mdc (mostly deep cuts) because most are not even singles let alone hits. But a few were added because I was reminded of them while listening. For instance, the Queen track reminded me a lot of Billy Squier. The Hall & Oates track reminded me of Devo. A couple of the tracks I had completely forgotten about because they were on an album that had one or more other amazing tracks on it that I loved. Skinyard I had because I love that version of one of my favorite Beatles tracks. Anyway, I hope you like what I picked for this mixtape.

  1. 2nd day you use Squire's Stroke. When I was in my early teens and this came out, I loved it. My older brother wrote down the lyrics for me and pointed out the homosexual references. And now, I cannot shake that memory off whenever that song is used or mentioned.
It doesn't matter if he was right or pranking me. I was an impressionable young boy

    1. Never really looked at the lyrics, but it always seemed very sexual. I don't care too much if it's homo or not. I just like the song. Even if I am still impressionable. Lol!
