Go back a couple of weeks to see more by The Fall and Brix (Adult Net) and of course Mark E Smith, but today's pick is focused on Brix E Smith-Start and her non-Adult Net work. And not everything, I didn't include anything beyond her stuff with the Fall and the Extricated. There's more than enough here and it really gels together. The post Adult Net stuff as Brix and the Extricated sounds very much like The Fall without Mark. No surprise since there are old members of that band recruited to play with her. I like this stuff! And her contributions to The Fall make a lot more sense hearing it away from Mark and makes her case (from her book) that she did a lot more than she was allowed to get credit for. From one of her early tracks with the Fall through all her Extricated work, this samples much of it.
