This is a pick that is kind of not part of a series but all kind of related songs that all start with Bad Bayou. Check out the other two. You'll see there is a resemblance, but not really the same series. It's all because of True Blood. I blame Sookie. This time No Chris Isaac, No Jace Everett, but still swampy, still voodoo-ish. It's gothic Southern Louisiana New Orleans Gris-Gris. I almost called it Gree-Gree, because I always want to pronounce it Grease-Grease or Grist-Grist and it would remind me the right way to say it. But instead I decided to ignore it and not mention how dumb I am in real life. Before you say anything about The Jesus And Mary Chain being on here instead of the original version. I made conscious decision to add them. It made the most amount of sense to me. It's got more of a vampire feel to me. The original is a great song but too happy sounding amongst the fire, brimstone, blood and death, even with the snakes and all that.
