What's The Connection? Space Invaders

When they first came out, I played a few of the arcade video games. Defender was one of my favorites, but songwriters don't seem to have played it much. Most of these songs have nothing to do with the game Space Invaders, but several bands sang about it. We're going to include any mention of Space Invaders in the title as being about the game in this connection. Probably my second favorite arcade game. I originally only knew of Scientist and the Pretenders doing these songs, but over the years several more have done them. One day there will be enought to these for Donkey Kong, Pac-Man, Qix, Defender, Frogger and maybe even Burger Time. But for now, you get this.
