I was getting ready to go on a trip (for business) and wanted some music to listen to. A new mixtape with different songs or different versions and I just looked around and made this pick. I had been in the 80's setting up my Top Picks (not picking the songs, but cleaning up recordings, etc.) and getting them ready to post for later this year. So I started there and then went all over my hard drive and album shelves. A few tracks I had used on various comps over the last several months (but i put on new context or new versions). I used one mashup that I had liked some time ago. Several tracks where I used a deep track from an album I liked.
