My Wedding Music 2

I posted the pick of my wedding music on my first anniversary of the year (I have two) although we didn't have a reception with this dancing until the second one. The first was in Vegas at the Little Wedding Chapel with Elvis. The reception was just drinking at a restaurant with a very few select freinds and family that were in the Vegas area at the time. The second time was six months later and was proper in a church and a real reception with a lot of friends and family with invitations and everything. I had made a few CD's for the DJ (a friend) and told him to play anything he wanted, but if he could, play from these if it fit or if he got requests for any of these. He did. The last track was a song that my mom and dad played on their wedding. A couple of the others on this pick were from weddings of our friends and family. The rest were just songs we connected with.

Here's the second part of this Bro Country pick. I almost called it Truck Yeah, but this title won out in my mind. A couple of the same bands, but mostly no doubles. And definitely no doubles on songs. Like yesterday I added a Br country song from the perspective of a girl as the last song. The video (if you haven't seen it) is hilarious. I don't follow the country charts much, but I am assuming these are all big hits. At least they are popular when I play them for people at my gigs. This Yo Bro pick is my Bro Country compilation. I have two volumes of it being posted today and tomorrow. Xmas (Christmas) Disco 3

Merry Christmas! A beautiful Christmas morning today and I am posting my pick for Xmas morning with a part three, part one of Xmas Disco came awhile ago and part 2 was just a few days ago, less than a week. Disco is a little bit of a misnomer. Some of these songs are not disco songs at all. But they are Christmas or Christmas related songs by at the minimum disco artists, if they aren't actual disco songs. The Bee Gees, for instance will always be associated with disco, but this ballady Christmas medley was done in the sixties way before they ever even thought of being involved with Saturday Night Fever. But I feel like it still could fit, so I shoved it in here. A couple of Orchestras who all seemed to join the disco craze in the 70's and made some cool Christmas medleys or full length albums segued for you ribbed dancing pleasure. I plucked out a few (leaving some for future comps) trying not to double up on songs. How many disco Sleigh Rides and White Christmases do we need on one playlist? Rhetorical. The answer is: one if possible. Anyway, Merry Christmas!
