Favorite Connections and favorite compilations are shown in their playlist order along with covers that I designed for each. BTW, if you are asked to pay for anything to get to any part of this site, then let me know. Nothing here is asking for money, if it is, then it's wrong and I will fix it. Please leave comments, it's the only way for me to know someone's been here. Thank you.

I Have A Dream (repost)
This repost is actually on the day we celebrate MLK, but his actual birthday was four days ago. We've been in some weird times lately. We have bigots screaming for racism in the schools, school boards asking for segregation and pointing fingers of white supremacy. We almost seem more divided today than when Dr. King was alive. But we aren't. In reality, Dr. King asked when we would see people by the color of their deeds rather than the color of their skin. I think once we get past the political rhetoric we are closer together than we ever have been. I'm proud to live in the only country who fought a war to stop slavery and has been progressing under Conservative views to become more and more a country where color of the skin means less than your actions. This connection is about songs inspired by and about Martin Luther King.
RIYL Uptown Funk (repost)
This repost is from the first year I was posting on this site. I like this RIYL pick. I still play it a lot. It just sounds good. Here's what I originally said about it: You know how you are listening to a song and it it really feels like you've heard the song before? I was listening to Mark Ronson and Bruno Mars' hit Uptown Funk and it kept bothering me. Not so much like Blurred Lines and Got To Give It Up sounded like they would make a good mash up, but I knew I had that vibe and sound in my head. So I started searching and remembering. This is the playlist pick that I came up with. Pretty much this is my Recommended If You Like Uptown Funk. Let me know what you would recommend in the comments below.
